Unsolicited Emails
We have become aware that unsolicited emails purporting to come from The Scottish Investment Trust PLC are circulating. These refer to various individuals being members of our staff or board and offer a variety of inducements to engage in activities involving the transfer of money. We do not issue unsolicited emails, nor engage in the activities described, and these emails are undoubtedly attempts to entice the recipient into being the victim of fraud.
We would suggest that if you receive such an email, you delete it. If you have any concerns regarding the validity of any email you have received from us, please contact us either by telephoning our office on 0131 225 7781, or by email to info@thescottish.co.uk.
Unsolicited Telephone Calls
It has been brought to our attention that some of our shareholders are receiving telephone calls from a number of organisations including ‘Franklin York’ and ‘Greenwich’. During the calls reference is made by the caller to The Scottish Investment Trust.
We have no connection whatsoever with Franklin York, Greenwich, nor any other similar company and have not sanctioned these calls. We do not undertake cold calling nor would we allow other organisations to use our name in their promotional activities.

Share Fraud Warning / Boiler Room Scams
